Our MamaDoo®Kids Foldable Play Yard Mattress Topper

When we first became parents we were overwhelmed by all the baby products on the market: What do we really need? What is the best brand? Then there were those items with instructions that made no sense, especially when you are sleep deprived, or products that seemed incomplete or not as functional as they could be. One such item was our Playard/Play Yard/Pack n Play … a great invention, easy and fast to set up and transport, perfect for Grandma’s house, sleepovers or those wonderful late night dinners at a friend’s house. There was only one problem: that floor-board-mattress was just too hard and uncomfortable for our son to get any rest.

So we looked online and at all the big and small baby/toy stores but everything we found did not fit perfectly, they all left gaps on the sides, which are unsafe, and none of them were easy to transport. That’s when we decided to make something ourselves and our MamaDoo Kids Foldable Mattress Topper was born. It worked so incredibly well for us that we decided to share it with other parents who wanted to help their children (and themselves☺) in getting some rest too.

We measured every play yard on the market, determined the best size, experimented with and mastered the perfect design, found high quality non-toxic components, decided against manufacturing abroad and hired a manufacturer in California, USA, and off we went.

Many parents have written to thank us, because whether they are at home or on vacation, their baby is finally comfortable and everyone is more rested. Rested, in the language of parenthood, means: we are patient and in a good mood.
